I’m originally from Chicago in the United States and I’ve also lived in Virginia Beach and Ann Arbor. Recently my wife and I made a big change in our lives and moved to Glasgow, Scotland. My background is in history, music performance, and marketing, and besides photography, I enjoy playing and watching basketball, cooking, music composition, and exploring new cities. I started out as many do, with a simple love of photography using a Canon EOS 50D DSLR and a basic 28-135mm. Since then my photography fervour grew and I have added a EOS 5D, numerous lenses, filters, multiple flashes, studio lights, reflectors, umbrellas, and much more. I’m passionate about photography and continually work to build my expertise with portraiture and use of photo editing software and also love sharing that expertise with others. I enjoy taking a wide range of photos, from big cities to deserted fields, bright colours to monochrome, complex multi-flash studio shots to natural candid photography, and macros to wide angles. It is my absolute pleasure to produce a set of photos that precisely, artistically, thoughtfully, and professionally capture your special event, whether it’s your wedding day, engagement shoot, newborn portraits, professional portraits, or a range of commercial photography. Feel free to take a look through the galleries. It’s important for you to find someone who represents your portrait or event the way you prefer, so do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or just want to learn more.
I was finally able to do a photo shoot at the gorgeous University of Glasgow. I had been hoping for a while that I’d meet a couple who wanted their pictures taken at the historic campus. As it turns out, Collette and Greg met while both at the University of Glasgow. They were a really friendly couple and a lot of fun to shoot.
